AccountingWeb is the Institute's media partner for the upcoming conference and has been promoting the high profile event to its large readership of accountants and other finance professionals.
We were therefore very interested to hear that the online finance publication has chosen ICB member Anthony Sudbury to appear in its esteemed Class of 2009 which showcases a handful of promising start up firms. The project follows the progress of the firms with the aim of offering advice to other accounting professionals. We are sure you will be interested to watch Mr Sudbury's progress yourselves.
Mr Sudbury MICB CB.Cert PM.Dip has been a member with us since 2005, working for a well respected accountancy practice in South Wales and doing some contract-based work in his spare hours, until recently....
Mr Sudbury had this to say about the new direction his business is going in,
"I wanted to pass on my thanks to Garry Carter for the advice he gave me at the Cardiff Conference, following which, I have leapt into the challenge of working for myself full time. After a slow summer, things are picking up (4 new clients last week alone!) and I am looking forward to the next 12 months."
And here is Mr Sudbury's profile as it appears in AccountingWeb:
