The ICB Berkshire Branch would like to invite all students and members to an event focused on international VAT. We will be joined by Matthew Harrison and Alan James, from Avalara. The company specialises in making international VAT and aims to make tax compliance less taxing.
Avalara helps businesses of all sizes achieve compliance with their international VAT and transactional tax obligations. In our role as bookkeepers, international VAT can be a bit daunting and Matthew and Alan will be giving us an introduction to cross border transactions.
Matthew has worked in indirect tax for six years and Alan has twenty years’ experience in tax technology. This is sure to be an informative event, whether you have been in practice for a while or if you are just starting out.
