Information

Exciting news for ICB students and members in the East Sussex area!

Following the huge success of the ICB Branch Meetings in Uckfield branch chair, Claire Packham FICB and her team are opening up a new Brighton branch.  Those ICB students and members who either find it difficult to attend evening meetings or to get to Uckfield now have an option.  So next month sees the inaugural meeting of the new East Sussex day-time meeting in Brighton.  This new location and timing will offer students and members more opportunity to attend an ICB Branch Meeting.  Announcing her intentions at the recent ICB Branch Chair Annual meeting, Claire, said that she had been thrilled with the response from her fellow ICB members with the Uckfield meetings being regularly ‘sold-out’ she felt it was time to open a new area and new timings.  Claire stressed that the new Brighton meetings will not replace the existing Uckfield ones, they will run alongside providing access to more ICB students and members to get involved.  ICB chief executive, Garry Carter, applauded Claire’s imitative saying that Brighton had always been a good location for ICB over the years, proving a popular destination for members whenever ICB had held meetings there.

Claire and her team look forward to seeing lots of new faces at the inaugural meeting where the following will be discussed:

-        Benefits of attending Branch Meetings

-        Getting to know other bookkeepers

-        How we can work together

-        Testimonials from our regular members

-        Future meetings

This first meeting is about getting to know each other and finding out how we can support you in your bookkeeping career.  We very much look forward to seeing you.

ICB Branch meetings are organised by members for members.
