Information

The Gloucestershire Branch opens its doors to all students and members for their Spring meeting. The Branch is lucky to welcome two highly regarded and sought after speakers.

9.45 – 11.15

Paula Veysey-Smith, FICB, from Kent will deliver an informative presentation on year end processes. Paula has over twenty years working in both the accounting and business world and has her own successful practice, m:power accounting.

The main areas covered in her presentation will be bank reconciliation, main control accounts, agreeing creditors and debtors, accruals and prepayments, asset register, and closing journal. The presentation will be in a workshop format, branch members will work through topics collectively, so that, by the end of the session, everyone will feel more confident in the bookkeeping that they undertake for small limited companies.

The presentation is not intended to teach bookkeepers how to draw up a set of statutory accounts but to give understanding of some of the main checks, adjustments and journals that need to be done.

11.15 – 11.45
