Where to Study

Where To Study

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the awarding body that sets and marks the examinations in bookkeeping which the undertaking of a course will equip you to attempt. The Institute itself d"s not provide courses.

The Institute recommends and prefers that students complete the manual Level I and Level II courses before taking the computerised bookkeeping courses.

Intensive Training (fast track)

New for 2009 a selection of intensive bookkeeping courses.

Text Books

For self study without the aid of a tutor. Also useful for working bookkeepers who want a reference guide or a refresher study before taking the examinations.

I want to study at home:

Many students choose to study at home (distance learning). This gives you the freedom to choose when you study, and enables you to work around your job or children. Most distance learning courses are supported by a telephone tutor.

If you would prefer not to study by distance learning, attending a college may be better for you. There you will receive face to face tutoring usualy in small classes.
