People wanting to become bookkeepers need to know where to purchase good quality courses from providers whom they can trust and that can provide them with the level of support that fulfils their needs.

Accredited Training Providers
Centres or individuals who provide training courses in bookkeeping can apply to become Accredited Training Providers. Accredited Providers enjoy a high level of support from the Institute:

• Use of Institute crest on all stationery, promotional material and web site
• Entry under 'Where To Study' section of Institute web site
• Access to the ICB's bookkeepers forum to engage with ICB members and students

Accredited Training Providers

Complete and return it to the Institute, providing as much detail as possible, including examples of any promotional material, and enclosing copies of CVs for all tutors on the scheme and copies of all training materials or courses.  Everything is treated in the strictest confidence.

The Institute will aim to have a decision to you within twenty-eight days of receipt of your application.  In the event that further information is required, you will normally be contacted by telephone to discuss what additional supporting documentation is required.

Accreditation from the Institute indicates to potential learners that providers are serious about maintaining high standards and have the support of the leading organisation in the profession.
