question for James (ICB) or anyone with website

Hi everyone, Im just getting my website sorted out and my question is how do i get ICB approval without first letting the webite go 'live' , if it doesnt go live they cant see it to check it out. Ive sent the link on an email to ICB today but it was abit late in the day, wondered what everyone else had done regarding getting websites, business cards etc approved. I was going to get some postcards printed from Vistaprint and was going to just put the crest on bottom corner of card,  i was planning on doing the same with business cards, i havent looked into it yet but I doubt I'll be able to copy it and send a proof to ICB before I order. any advice anyone?
thanks
fiona
p.s in all cases the crest is small and placed in a bottom corner as per instructions on ICB site.

I've had letterheads from vista print before - I think I ordered the proof and emailed it to ICB - they were very quick coming back with approval. Not sure about the web site though, probably best to give them a call.

with Business Cards - vista allow you to make up a proof and save it for a few days - you can then email a copy of the proof through to ICB and they are quick to reply - same with your headed paper etc.

Good luck with your business

Hi Abacus,

Could I ask how quickly they replied to you? I sent my proofs 2 days ago with no reply, but that might just be me being impatient! Undecided

It took a day for them to come back about my business cards and a few days about the website, though that was because the link wasn't working (sent a link without it going live, though it worked when I sent it to my husband) and then I put it live for them to approve it.

Don't forget they have CPD seminars at the moment.

Good luck with your business
