I have a potential client who currently uses MYOB v14 which will become 'redundant' later this year. He wants a package that works on MAC. He does not want to use a package to allow MS products to work on MAC.

He is looking at the alternative software options listed below:

1.MAMUT AccountEdge (the people who took over MYOB) but he is not happy with the compulsory service agreement cost
2. Connected 6
3. MoneyWorks Express 6.0.3
4. Business Accountz

He has downloaded all three to test drive and is currently thinking in favour of Business Accountz.

I am not familiar with anything other than SAGE, so I wondered if any of you have experience of any of these packages and what they think.  As far as I can tell his business is small and his needs minimal and fairly simple.  It's a shame SAGE does not work directly with MAC!

Hi Jackie 

In the London Conference Last Year I asked if the ICB Iris new software would work on a mac . They confirmed it would.  So you could maybe contact James.  

 There are quiet a few cloud softwares that work on Mac.   Maybe you could find out whether it has to be based on his or her  Mac or if they are happy to use the Cloud.

Does nobody out there have experience of Connected 6, Money Works Express or Business Accountz? I'd really like to help the guy choose the right package. Thanks.
