Hi

Reading different threads I've noticed that you have been using Fusion.  I hope you don't mind me asking but I am using it for the first time today and can't figure out how to change the VAT codes or financial year parameters.  Thought it might be quicker to ask you rather than waste precious time!  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Hi Shazans,

Fusion is really a user friendly cloud package.

All VAT rates are already pre-loaded, you just need to choose while inputting transaction. I believe you do not need to set an accounting period to record your mock or exam transactions.

You can also contact Fusion support if you still need further assistance. They have been excellent in supporting me at such point that i will be keeping in touch with them in near future.

Thank you for your fast response!  I am using text books at the moment so just trying to cover all areas.  Could you tell me how you prepared for Level 2 Comp as I plan to play around with fusion and do the mock papers but is there any other material which would help me prepare better?

Hi Shazan,

With regards to computerised level 2, i purchased the mock. There is only one you can purchase from the shop tab of ICB website. After completing the mock on fusion, you will know what the institute is expecting you to produce.

I did not purchase any course cause it would have been a complete waste of money having worked in account for a long time- eight years!

You will be fine taking the self study route. There are a lot of us opting for this option.
