I was involved in the user group for this with sage. I was quite impressed with the change in the Vat module. I find that most times the flat scheme is not a benefit , but this allows you to constantly keep an eye on whether you should change over to the flat rate scheme or vice a versa and change back , it calculates whether the flat rate would benefit or cost you. If you discover that it is to your disadvantage you can change back prior to reconciling vat return. My clients ask me this all the time so now it will be easy to say yes or no quickly . I think for many small to medium size business this will be very useful tool to save some money.
