Hi

I take part in sage user groups in newcastle and I have had articles published by accounting Web and responded to many questions on the Sage User group, which is under the discussion groups.   I highly recommend it for sage users as there is loads of useful tips.

I have added them to our forum under software for any students or members that may find them useful.

I thought some of them may be useful to students and any members who use sage.   I can only print the elements though that I wrote .   But I hope it helps anyone who is using sage.

There will be a number of them as topics and done by comments covering varous areas.  If anyone has any further questions .  I will try and help when I get a chance.

There is so much more that can be covered and hopefully I will when I get some more time.

Sarah

I have followed your posts on AWeb, always an interesting and informative read.  At a time when many accountants seem intent on rubishing sage, it's good that someone can stand up for it and help users understand its features better.  Sage is a powerful tool in the right hands, it can be far more than a bookkeeping (or accounting) package it can become a business financial management system.

thanks Sarah

Hi Anne

Many thanks for your comments.   I have to say I also really enjoyed the tips from Witch Doctor on the accounting Web Sage Discussion Group.   Which I am now using for my own clients.  I also recommend any members to read her tips.

I found a lot of her tips extremely useful as I did not know them.  As you say it is an extremely useful management tool and it goes to show how many features it has.

I think accountants are only concerned with their element and as some other posters on AWEB have said they are not taking into account Businesses point of view .  They are almost viewing the Clients with contempt as if they were stupid for buying sage.

Most of my clients are pretty bright after all they are running their own business.
