Hi everyone

My name is Victoria (Vik for short) and I am studying like mad as I want to start my own practice. I have taken CIMA and AAT exams in the past but through my research decided that to be affiliated with the ICB could only help me more in setting up.

I've always loved bookkeeping, but through my career progression have moved further and further away from it. I've now got the chance to leave the corporate world and start my own business. A really exciting prospect and I'm so looking forward to it!

I've completed level I and I'm now nearing the end of my study book and getting ready to sit the level II exams soon. Just seen the posting suggesting taking the manual exam before computerised - this forum is proving very useful.

However, one question I do have. Which is truly the most appropriate software package to use to do the exams! I've got the mock paper (Orchard Bistro) and have tried using both VT and Quickbooks and both (in my opinion) have pitfalls. It doesn't help that I'm a pendantic beast and want my results to look exactly like the mock answers. I have the Fusion trial version - does this tick all the boxes?

Looking forward to many more chances to ask and/or answer questions on the forum!

Vik
