Please can you suggest the ideal software for my start up business and the software that will last for years when I have achieved all the relevant qualifications in the future.

Hi David

Ive tried tasbooks and hate it personally.

I like using sage line 50 for clients who have a lot of invoicing etc plus a lot of Accountants prefer receiving the files from sage, but I loved using VT+.  Think it is super for sole trader (small business).  Defo going to buy it when I get some capital.

If you eventually do your payroll exam, having used various software over the years in employment, they are all much the same, but Ive just downloaded the free trial of moneysoft for the payroll exam and am enjoying using that.

For me personally I wont be using software that is only online as my connection isnt always that reliable.  No connection no work from what I can tell.

Thank you very much. This is what I want; someone with my status who has given me the answer. I will go for the VT Transaction+, however, I may also purchase Sage Line 50 software; see how I feel.
