Hi James

Yes i am looking for something for the exams - i have bought a book on Sage 50, but it doesnt mean much if i cannot get practice on the software.

I am jumping ahead because i am currently going through exercises for the Manual  exam

I will try to find some trial software.

Kind Regards

Martin

There are free ones.  They are just limited in what they can do. ie some will only let you have one bank account.  The free Quickbooks won't let you import bank statements but I think the one you pay for does.   I've just started using brightbooks for my own books.  I can import my bank statements - but find the reporting a bit weird at the moment and its putting my drawings on the P&L.  I still need to work out how to journal things but it was late last night when I was doing this - it will probably be alot easier in the light of day.

Other free ones include quickbooks (free version).  okay for a small company but I don't like quickbooks for a bigger company.  I think it has all sorts of issues!!  I think TAS has a free version.   And I think Kashflow might be a free one.
