Gina thanks for organising a great venue.
I thought the group was a great mix of students and members and a great bunch of people.
I will hopefully be able to attend the next meeting (will enjoy hiding amongst the members next time).
It was really nice to meet more local members.

Thank you to all who came a long to the meeting last night. It was really good to meet with local members and I think there was a good vibe in the room by the end of the evening.
Thanks so much to Stuart for helping me through this first meeting - without his help I might not have got this far!

Hi Gina and Stuart,
Thanks for organising and all the info last night. It was a bit daunting walking in but next time I will hopefully recognise some faces. I've also registered for the ICB benefits so looking forward to saving some money!
It was great seeing such a mix of bookkeepers and to know that the studying does lead to a job in the end, whether self employed or with a company.

Thanks to Gina for organizing our first meeting which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to meet other book keepers in the local area and very interesting to hear other peoples views on the 'role play' session.
I will be using the ICB benefits as the system sounds great following the information you gave us about it.

Thank you Gina and Stuart for a thoroughly enjoyable and positive evening.
We had a good attendance, with a wide mix of experience and membership levels. Everyone had time to chat and network, and we all took away at least one new learning experience, even though the time just flew by. A supportive approach to each other is the underlying principal of the Group, both at these meetings, and in our professional lives.
The venue was good, and seems to be positioned within reasonable travelling distance of the local members.
Here's hoping for a long and successful life for the Fareham Branch.

Both of you were really good and I thought it was a really positive start to the Fareham meetings and I look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing ideas and stories. As a student member, I found it very worthwhile, and have just booked my ticket for the next one.

Afternoon all on this glorious day
As i mentioned I may be leaving the area unfortunatly my husbands meeting went down hill in about 30 seconds in being in so he is now handing in his notice.
So this means I will be relocating to Sunderland in the school summer holidays (unless they drastically change there mind they better not I have spent the last week and a half sorting the minefield of school applications and transfers  ).
I will endeavour to attend the next meeting if that is ok, then I have to find somewhere up north

Finally got somewhere with my course provider and have now passed ICB Level 1, just have to sort out taking manual Level 2.
Fingers crossed I can do that fairly quickly

Hello, this is a message for Gina.
I wondered if the Fareham Branch meetings could be held on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I am now working on Thursday and Friday evenings so unfortunately can not make Thursday evening meetings and really enjoyed attending.
I realise it is a big ask but thought I'd try.

What a shame you can't attend the Thursday meetings. I do have the next couple booked for the relevant Thursday but after that we could maybe change the evening if the majority are in agreement.

I have just joined ICB as a student and would like to attend the Fareham meetings. Is there a schedule of forthcoming dates that you could point me in the direction of, and do I need to register to attend etc etc?!

Hi Sophie
All you have to do is keep an eye on the events page then when you see a Fareham event just bookin via the ICB website.
The guys that meet at Fareham are a great bunch really warm and welcoming.
I would definatley recomend you going along.

We will be meeting next on Thursday 10th January 2013 at The Lysses Hotel in Fareham. The meeting is 6- 9 pm.
As Stuart said, you will be able to book via the ICB website nearer the date.

I have in my diary that the next meeting is January 10th at 18:00 in Fareham.
You will need to book and pay for the meeting, which is easily done on here through the Members Area.
I started attending whilst still a student, and found the sessions very helpful and friendly, so I hope that you can come along.
