Hi everyone,

Our next South Yorkshire branch meeting is to held at the Magna Centre in Rotherham (same place as the last meeting a couple of weeks ago) on Friday 6th September 2013 10.00 - 12.00 as per usual.

Garry Carter from the ICB has confirmed that he will be attending this meeting and he will be doing a presentation about the Anti Money Laundeting regulations (which we briefly discussed at the last meeting).

This is a great opportunity to come along to this meeting and get as many students and members as possible to take advantage of Garry's presence to our SY branch meeting.

It will also be great for any members just starting out in business and needs to know these very important AML rules and regulations.

Should I advise Garry to bring an interpreter with him ??!!!!

Please could you kindly drop me an email if you are going to attend this meeting. As this will be an 'extra special' meeting I am maaking plans early for this one so we can get as much out of Garry as we can whilsdt we have him at our meeting !

It would be great to finally meet you !

The branch meetings are 10-12, Obviously this one will be a really good one (but they all are really !) as Garry will be coming to us.

It's at the Magna Centre. I think they have stuff for kids to do if you are stuck for a babysitter.

Hi Bev

I have never been to a meeting before so I do not know what to expect.  I have just received my Practice licence this week and I am in the middle of setting up my business.

I wanted to come to this Branch meeting but due to commitments I thought I would not be able to attend, but I have had a change in my plans. Is it too late to purchase a ticket for this Fridays meeting  6^th September?

It would be great to see you at this branch meeting. We have the CEO of the ICB coming along to this one so this would be an ideal one to attend, especially as you are just starting your business as Garry will be talking about the very important topic of anti money laundering. 

if you go to the shop on the ICB website, you can purchase your ticket there for £7.
