Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself.... my name is Jennifer Webster and I have just started my own practice, Integrity Bookkeepers Ltd, in my home town of Ossett, West Yorkshire.  I will be looking to attend many (if not all!) of the West Yorkshire branch meetings this year and to meet some fellow bookkeepers from the area.

I am currently AICB qualified, have just completed the Level 3 Manual exam and am just about to start the Level 3 Computerised course with a view to having the exam out of the way in the next 3 months.

It will just be nice to finally meet up with some like-minded individuals, therefore I look forward to the next meeting (whenever that may be...) and seeing some of you there.

So sorry for the extreme delay in responding - been a bit busy! It'd be great if you can make it to the meeting on 13th Feb - detailsl should be in the events page any time soon.... its very informal and hopefully interesting/ informative, so hopefully useful to you!

Look forward to meeting you!

Hi Alex - just a quick question, is there any parking at the Round Foundry?  Also, is there anything in particular that I need to bring to branch meetings?  As this is my first one it is all obviously a bit new to me!!

Regards

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer
There is a car park at the Round Foundry, but spaces are very limited. If you can get one its £5 to park – there is an attendant there. Otherwise you can street park on a meter, which I don’t think is too exorbitant, or there are several long stay car parks within 5 or 10 mins walk. The station is only 15 mins walk away.

You don’t need to bring anything except maybe a notebook if you want to write stuff down. This meeting will be slightly different – we normally have a speaker but don’t this time, so its more of an open forum really. Have a think about some questions or topics you’d like to discuss, if you like.

See you there!

Alex
