Hi,

I have uninstalled Sage Instant Payroll program provided by my college. I tried to install it again, but it says that I have the system already on the computer. I have contacted Sage, but they have told me that this program is only for one time instalation. I need to go ahead with mock and exam please advise what to do.

Regards

Vaida

Hi Vaida,

Although you have uninstalled it from your PC there are still some components of the software which remain and that is why it is saying you have the system already on your computer.

All these extra bits in the background also have to be removed to allow you to install any future Sage Payroll software.

You cannot run 2 versions of this on the same drive on your PC.

Have you tried contacting your college who provided the software for the exam?

Sorry can't be of more help to you.

Hi Vaida

Best of luck in the exam. why did you uninstall it? Was it because it was only for a limited time? With payroll it really needs to be the latest version or the version for the exam you are doing so I would contact your college. If it is a full version then have you tried to install it on a different machine. As long as only you are using it and its yours and a full version it should let you do this. (worth a try if you have a spare machine).

very best of luck

Hi Vaida

You just rebuild the data to take the exam. If college cant help, I would definately see if you can put it onto a different machine. Otherwise ask ICB what systems they support for the payroll exam and get a trial version to try.

Very best of luck in your exam.
