Hi everyone,

Hope you can help me, I've had to hand in my notice at work (for health reasons) and I've just received my P45 from them today, however after looking through it, I've found that they've made a mistake and put the wrong date of birth (as in wrong day, month and year).

Is this something I should be concerned about? Should I contact them and tell them or do I need to do or contact something else?

I'm sorry if this sounds a bit of a pathetic question?

I'd appreciate any help or advice on the matter - thanks in advance.

”Hi Sions

It is a relatively simple operation for your former employer to re-issue you with a revised form P45 showing your correct date of birth.  I suggest that you ask them to do it.
