Stressful 24hours!

I was due to sit my level III Manual Exam yesterday, but when I got to the centre their systems were down and they sent everyone home!!!! At the risk of sounding like a complete drama queen (which normally I'm not!) I did shed a tear of frustration! I, along with a lot of other people, have been working very hard to meet the March deadline and this wasn't looking likely as I was being offered new dates of the end of March!! After many phone calls to ICB (very helpful and understanding) and Pearson Vue (not helpful or understanding!) I eventually found a date next week at a different centre in Central London. Panic over.... Time to refocus and hopefully pass it!

Thank you to Lily and Jacquie at the ICB for being the calm voice at the end of the phone (and my tutor Brian).

I don't think you sound like a drama queen, that sounds like the type of situation where you are allowed to have a freak out! I have mine booked for the 28th Feb so that will be cutting it fine if something like that happens. Good luck for next week.

Oh dear,

I'm cutting it finer still.  I can't even book my Manual 3 exam until computerised 2 has been marked... I'm gambling on usually being able to book appointments more proximately in Oslo than I used to be able to in Stirling.

We shall see...

Good luck!

> Running monkey - why not give Lily at ICB a call to see if they can help in anyway. They were very flexible with me. They realise there are a lot of us out here trying to achieve the deadline. Good luck.

I agree - I don't think you was a drama queen, your reaction was totally justified.

Well done for staying focused and the very best of luck for next week Smile

Ouch Jo (Wells).   Was dying to know how you got on and was hoping to hear the good news that you'd passed with flying colours.  Can't imagine how bad you must have felt.  All that preparation and psyching yourself up for it.  I think anybody would have cried!!!

Good luck with your next shot.  You're nearly there.  Smile

Best wishes

Well done for passing though :)

Excuse for sounding ignorant but what's this deadline everyone is talking about? is there a syllabus change from April?

Thanks :)

> The deadline is 31st March and everyone studying Level 3 old syllabus are madly rushing to complete the level before then. The deadline doesn't effect people studying the new syllabus.
