Can anybody help me please. My course has not covered what the entries should be for closing stock. You do trial balance then in the year end adjustments you get closing stock is £xxxxx. How do I get this to show in the trading section of the P&L Account and in the current assets of the balance sheet?

Sage has a section which will do this for you.
Go to Modules, Wizards and then Open Closing Stock and then follow the instructions.
