Would anyone know please if my desktop version of Quickbooks 2014 will work if I install Windows 10 on my computer? Just wondering if I need to upgrade to a more recent version of Quickbooks or would I be better looking at the online version instead?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Catherine

A Windows 10 upgrade should leave all your installed software and files in the same place as they were, so your Quickbooks 2014 should be safe and unchanged, and available to use as before the Windows 10 upgrade.  I upgraded to Windows 10 and Quickbooks 2016 was unaffected, and the company files were still in the same place etc.

Thanks

Peter

Not so sure on this. I'm getting pop up messages from within Quickbooks desktop, following an update, saying it is not compatible with Windows 10

I should add, that was Quickbooks 2014 accountant version
