Hello everyone
I decided to practice my bookkeeping knowledge in quickbooks and already got confused
I want to record £1.40 as a discount reserved ( the discount has been given to me by the website services i use.
My thoughts are that the Discount received is an income and the Discount allowed is the expense
However quickbooks chat of accounts suggests that the discount given is an income
Can some one please explain , as i may be missing somthing
