Level III

Hello

Some time has elapsed since I took my last exam. In August 2013 I did 2 level 2 exams, one was manual and one was computerised. This gave me AICB CB.CERT status allowing me to be a self employed bookkeeper. I have kept up with membership, insurance and practice license fees.

I now wish to upgrade a bit and am hoping someone can tell me which exam I should do next. I understand that the system has changed and I may have to do level 2 again before I do level 3.

I have searched the site for such information but have not been able to find anything.

Thank you in advance.

Peter

Hi Peter

I'd contact the ICB and ask them which level you need to resume your studies at and take it from there because as you say the levels have altered from there just being 3.

good luck

Hi Peter,

I believe you need to do what is now Level IV Advanced Bookkeeping and Computerised Bookkeeping (old Level III) although as you have had more than a two year gap since passing the previous level you may need to repeat those exams as well.

As mentioned by CAP you are best to ring ICB as they can confirm exactly what you would need to do.

Regards,

Dale
