Hi

I just wanted to congratulate everyone especially those going for New Practice, Small Practice, and Large Practice.   There is so much talent in ICB it is incredible and brilliant.   It is a great experience, and everyone who is shortlisted are winners.   As they say, may the best man or woman win.

Congrats to all the trainers and software companies, it is going to be a great night.   I hope to catch up with anyone who is going.

The Awards

The LUCA Awards will take place on Tuesday 29th November. This year, coinciding with its 20th anniversary, ICB has been invited by the Lord Mayor to host its ceremony at the Mansion House in the City of London.

The LUCA Awards are the ‘Oscars’ of the bookkeeping profession and are presented in recognition of the year’s outstanding bookkeepers and the many organisations that complement the valuable work that they do. Each winner is presented with a Luca Award by HRH Prince Michael of Kent. The Luca Awards are exclusive statuettes of Luca Pacioli, the Cistercian monk who is credited with inventing the process of double entry bookkeeping that endures today.

If you are interested in attending the ceremony please contact Amy Hemsley at 0207 856 2567.

Hi Lizzie

Thanks for the good wishes,   but I am only attending as a ICB, er rather than been shortlisted nominee.    However up in Scotland we are really pleased Value Added is shortlisted for Large Practice.    Michelle is always very supportive to a lot of members in Scotland

Thanks Sarah and Brian for showing your support to this year's nominees!

Following on from what Sarah and Brian have said, I wanted to extend my congratulations to everyone that has come this far. It really is a testament to the hard work and dedication you have put in over the past 12 months and you should all be proud. The number of entries ICB received this year was phenomenal and the standard was incredibly high.

I'm truly sorry that not all the nominees were not originally listed on the ICB website and this was purely done in error.

It is going to be a fantastic evening and I look forward to seeing all the nominees next Tuesday.
