Hello everyonoe, 

I have been a member for a while but never really made the move to start up my own practice. I want to take the payroll certificate though I have experience inn that regard as that is what I have been doing in my permanent job for years now. 

First thing that I think I require is: 

Do we have ICB groupin the east london/Essex area, as I live in london and I think meeting up with like minds would help me in this new venture am getting into and all the emails I keep receiving are Kent members and thats far for me. 

what advice would you give that would assist me in starting up. I am looking to put payroll into it as well. How do I set the pricing? Just asking but I realise I have to ease up on charges to build the customer base first. 

Any other advice would be nice

Hi Ben

I'm an East London (Barking) member and go to the central London Group meeting - a friendly bunch. This is the closest one as I believe the Essex group normally meets up somewhere close to the northern border - on the way up to Ipswich I think. I think I still get the London email (as well as Kent) because I was living in East Ham originally.
