ABA9 centre based exam platform

The ICB ABA9 mocks are on different platform to usual ROGO ones and all answers, including whole numbers, are to be entered as ##.##. Even if you enter an answer that is obviously a whole number as integers the system automatically sticks the  .00 on end before you submit.

Got my centre based exam next week, done both mocks which were fine but was wondering if anyone who's sat this exam recently can remember if same format is used.

Eg if answer to debtors payment days is, say, 12.2 and its to be rounded to nearest day do you enter 12 or 12.00, will either be accepted or does system override so data entry is correct as per ICB mocks.

BA7 little more than blur, cant remember instructions and think there was only one answer that this would've applied to anyway

Thanks in advance if anybody can remember.

 Hi Trish

I did my ABA9 a couple of weeks ago and found it very similar to the mock exams in terms of layout.  At the beggining of the exam I am sure it tell you how it would like you to format your answers as well as how many decimal points to round too.  If you have done the mock exams then you will be fine.

good luck.

Hi Kathryn

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

I think nerves are just starting to get the better of me.

Im a bit of a pessimist and tend to think if anything can go wrong it will - thanks for the reassurance.

Did well in the mocks so fingers crossed.

Thanks again!

 Hi

I did my ABA9 last week and it is simular to the mocks. I was so nervous as well in case it wasn't simular. You will be fine in the exam. Good luck with it.

Thanks Sam :-)

It's good to hear from those who have sat it recently.

This is the one I've stressed over the most so far as it's as important to get the rounding correct as it is the formulae etc..

Again thanks for reply

Will wait for grade from icb but Im in very privileged position in that I got full marks for ABA8 so my main concern was just passing this one!

So relieved.
