Hi, my client makes swimming costumes which have a number of components. 

She's currently using a spreadsheet and is struggling to understand the cost of one swimming costume. I'd like to recommend some accounting software, critically it must be simple for her to record costs, understand WIPand know the cost of one item of stock. 

Recommendations please?

I just had a look at the process for doing this in Quickbooks and it's going to be far too complicated. There must be software specifically targetted to manufacturing clients.

Hi Zoe You can have a look at Xero it is more user friendly and tracking should help with stock

No, I use Xero too and it's also pretty useless when piecing together payments to various suppliers for components to make one item of stock. Really looking for something more specific to manufacturing. 

Any other recommendations please?

I agree with you about Xero and suppliers.  I like the software but the supplier's side is not as strong as the sales.   You should checkout Exact manufacturing cloud excellent of software.
