Unbelievable!

Hi everyone,

Well I have had a Practice Licence since March 2007 and decided to give up working self-employed at the moment.

Duly notified ICB at end of February that I would not be renewing licence when current one expires on 31 March.

What have they done? Only denied me access to MLR despite the fact that I still have 3 clients, still have current Practice Licence, still have current PI Insurance and still registered for Data Protection with ICO.

You couldn't make this up could you - or could you?!!!

Maybe give the office a call to discuss.  It may well just be an error rather than intentional.

Have emailed them.

However, this is not the first shall we call it 'error' I have experienced and quite frankly for an organisation that is for bookkeepers then they should be more diligent.

We have to be sure that we are doing accounts etc correctly so they should be even more conscientious than us.

'Lead by example'?

Hello ICB,

Anyone in the office today? Was there anyone in the office yesterday?

Would appreciate the courtesy of a response by email.

6 days and still no response to my emails.

Is the office closed?

Are ICB still in 'business'?

No reply to my email either.  My guess is Gary is on holiday - I think all communication goes through him first.

Have just received an email apologising for the error.

The contents of the email and how they are resolving the issue to my satisfaction is how I would expect ICB to react.

Happy days again!
