Job title: Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Location: Paignton

 

We are looking for an experienced person to temporarily fill a book keeping role based at our office in Paignton starting as soon as possible during w/c 9th April.

This vacancy has arisen due to our present book keeper moving on.  This is a temporary position whilst the business recruits a long-term replacement. 

 

Tasks include

Issuing sales invoices

Customer payment receipts

Processing expenses and managing the purchase ledger

Monthly payroll

VAT return

Monthly commission statements for designers

Cash management

Ad hoc financial reporting and office management projects

Preparation of monthly management accounts

 

Skills required

Expert with Excel

Quick learner of accountancy software (we are currently using Mamut Enterprise E5)

Good telephone manner

 

Terms

30hrs per week (6 hours per day/5 days per week) but there can be some flexibility here.

Pay £12.50 p/hr.

This is a temporary position for a minimum period of 3 months
