Accounts (FRS105) and Corp Tax production software

Can anyone recommend a software package for the production of FRS 105 Accounts and accompanying Corporation Tax Returns?

I used Taxfiler, which was an excellent piece of software, until it was taken over by Iris and renamed Iris Elements and is now beset with technical issues, particularily in their CT Returns. There appears to be no urgency to fix the errors and as soon as one is fixed another appears. I have lost confidence that I can meet deadlines using this software so need to swap to something more reliable. Recommendations would be greatfully received.

Many thanks Richard

Hi Richard

I use Iris Elements quite a lot and haven't noticed any problems so far, is it a particular thing that you are not able to do in CT returns?

Other than that I use Xero Tax but obviously only for xero clients, wouldn't be worth it for general clients.

Thanks

Terry

 Hi Terry

I use it a lot too but just recently when adding new clients to the software have encountered numerous issues with odd fields being populated in the CT600 for those new clients only, or errors in producing the Tax Calculation. When I raise each issue with Iris it takes a week of going back and forth with their AI support tool before a human picks it up and then it's like I do all the work for them to work out all the scenarios in which the error is or isn't created. Its very frustrating and extremely time consuming.

I'll look into Xero Tax, but of course most of my clients I need to produce CT600's for aren't on Xero.

Richard
