Hey - Congrats on your new venture - I am also very new to ICB and bookkeeping. My advice is that the ICB forum doesnt seem to be that well used (and most replies seem to be spam bots!) Instead I recommend joining the ICB Facebook group and find out about upcoming ICB Branch Meetings.

You'll get far more support and connections through branch meetings and it doesnt have to be the one where you live (I'm in Cornwall where there isnt one!).

The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire branch hold most of their meetings online and welcome ICB members from anywhere in the UK.

Good luck with your studying - I am hoping get my first level 4 soon exam ticked off before the end of the year, but finding it hard to get stuck into studying!

Hello from Saltash - you'll always be welcome at the Devon branch.  Currently meetings are near Ashburton, and people do travel from North Devon and further into Cornwall too. Some meetings are online too. Our next gathering is for a Christmas meal, so a great opportunity to get to know people. Contact me via Budd's Bookkeeping for further info.  The branch also has a WhatsApp group which is great for asking quick questions.

Well done to both with your studies!
