Hi Everyone

I have done up to Level IV Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping and Accounts, and have been doing internal year end accounts for internal use for a few clients.

The client is now asking if I can file their Micro Accounts and some Total Exemption accounts as well as their confirmation statements.
None of my clients require to file an audit and some micro accounts do not actually have any transaction.

However I know that to do statoury accounts I would need to do a new extra " Level 4 Certificate in Financial Statements" qualification.

but they said that they have been filing themselves before and so I would be fine.

Can someone help and confrim if it would be count as admin and my qualifcation would be sufficient to file for them?

I am starting up and dont want to turn them down if I can do them but also do not want to do something I am not supposed to.

Thanks in advance

Dear Sally, If you have done Level 4 Financial Statements qualification and have certificate of it, you can file accounts with Companies House and if you also have done Corporation Tax returns certificate, then you also can file CTR and accounts with HMRC provided you are acting as an agent for CT with HMRC.

For more information, you can also seek advise from AML helpline.

I hope this clears.

Thank you very much.

Kind regards,

Mehul Dave
