Chris Downing of Sage will be giving a presentation on MTD for Income Tax. It will include the current HMRC introduction plan, the implementation in software and the consequences for the industry, clients, and bookkeepers.
Chris is an accomplished speaker and, amongst many other subjects, an expert on MTD.
Self-employed businesses and landlords with annual business or property income above £10,000 will need to follow the rules for MTD for Income Tax from their next accounting period starting on or after 6th April 2023. We as bookkeepers need to be fully aware of all aspects of this big change to recording, reporting, and paying Income Tax, so please do come along to this presentation.
