Information

Join us for this month’s open session style Branch Meeting.

Positive comments were received from our January meeting where the new team running the branch was introduced and there was more involvement from branch members. It is your branch, so thank you for being involved. With that success, we are keen to maintain the interactive format.

This is with a view to us all being able to form better business relationships with each other, share information and friendship and help each other.

Nobody will be pressurised into speaking, it will be a relaxed environment as always.

There is a lot of knowledge, experience and expertise in the room so let’s share it!

I recently attended the annual meeting for Branch Chairs which was hosted by ICB co-founders Garry and June Carter. ICB’s Graham Hambly, who attended the January Branch Meeting was there and made some very positive comments to Garry and the other attendees about our branch members and the new team and commented upon the way that relationships were being formed.

I will continually be keen to ascertain what you all, as individuals, would like from the branch meetings, particularly subjects for which you would like to see presentations or be discussed.

Our very own Caroline Barraclough MICB, has introduced Brooke Hender, owner of Brooke Hender Cognitive Hypnotherapy, who will be giving a very interesting presentation entitled Sort YourSelf Out: How to recognise and deal with self-doubt.

Wherever you are in your bookkeeping journey, self-doubt may arise especially where some aspects are out of our control. We all need to alleviate that doubt and find the best strategies to suit our individual needs.

Brooke is an experienced speaker, and he runs a monthly Meetup group.

Unfortunately, the venue is no longer able to provide tea & coffee within the same cost. Chocolates & biscuits will be on offer though.  You are also welcome to bring a drink from the bar…as long as you take your glasses back.

Everyone is welcome in the basement bar for a drink after the meeting.
