Hello All

I am trying to add an invoice on Xero for a customer in Belgium where reverse charge applies. I can't for the life of me find the appropriate VAT option on Xero for this and I think I'm missing something very obvious. Can anyone help?

Hi. I have had the same difficulty today, and this is the response I have got from the Xero support:

"Xero currently supports reverse charge reporting for EC purchases only. I've let our Product Team know that you'd also like us to provide support for reporting reverse charges on the sale of specified goods and services per HMRC rules. For now you'll need to enter the adjustments into Boxes 2 and 4 of you VAT return manually, and then file it with HMRC our side of Xero."

Hi,

I use the Zero Rated EC Goods Income and Zero Rated EC Services tax rates in Xero for the supply of goods and services to EC customers where they have provided their VAT number and will account for reverse charge VAT in their country.
