Thought I would give hope to the people who are struggling to get started. I have just signed up my first client  and I started my business in June last year. I got them through being a member of a local business women's organisation, so networking does work. I have a query about the situation though, which I have posted in Members in Practice if anyone can help, especially at the ICB.
