It's terrifying

Have just started phoning some local accountants to try and get some work.  I've spoken to about 4 who have said they would be more than happy for me to send them a short letter with some business cards.  They all seem really nice but I'm shaking like a leaf!!!!

Good luck - you will be fine - remember if you have passed the exams then you have some knowledge - and if working with accountants then they will be able to answer any question you have - you will also have your revision/work books to refer to if your memory needs a little boost.

I think the first time is the worst and after that it will be easier - go for it!!!

Did you find some of your own clients as well as going through local Accountants .

Haven't heard anything yet.  Going to wait a few days until I have my new practice cert in my hand, then ring some more. I'm hoping with April coming that things might get busy for these accountants and I might hear something....

Also, sat my Level 2 manual exam today and passed.  Not sure of the percentage yet as it hasn't updated at ICB, but hopefully tomorrow.  2 hour exam and I was all finished and checked through after 55 mins so I'm reasonably confident of a good mark.Laughing
