First a big thank you to everyone who made it to the informal meeting yesterday in Leeds - there were 9 of us altogether which made for some useful, interesting and thought provoking discussion!
In fact, we had such a good time we're going to do it all again in 2 months time, and hope that a few more people can make it then too. We are thinking of trying to meet up every 2 months from now on, so hopefully we can persuade the rest of you in the region to make it at least once in the next year....
The next meeting will be on Thursday 26th May, again between 3pm and 5pm. I know this isn't a great time for some of you but its hard to find a slot where everyone can make it. We might change the time for future meetings if theres enough of you who can come on an alternative day/ time.
We haven't decided on a venue yet but it will be somewhere in central Leeds close to the station. The Queens is convenient but the coffee is extortionate and not very nice! I will keep you posted as to where we will meet.
If you plan on coming please either reply to this thread for now or email me at alexsmith'at'book-keepingleeds.com. Once we have a venue I will notify ICB to put an events listing on and you can book on through there too.
We've decided for now to keep the discussion informal - bring a problem or question that might be eating away at you and you can't, like me, feel brave enough to confess to the ICB helpline that you don't know all the answers!
