Having received many requests for a group to be started for during the daytime . I have sent an agenda to the ICB for approval . I would like to stress that the Glasgow and Edinburgh regions will still be organising events, and we hope to see as many members as possible for these events. Please see below what are plans are.
Liz Dawson has very kindly booked the Coatbridge Community Centre for are very first meeting on Thursday the 2nd June 2011 to get things moving.
An agenda has been sent to the ICB for approval just to get the first meeting going. Mark , Jo and all the members as part of this thread for the middle group. I will be asking you for your help. I hope I have not offended anyone. It will be the members at each meeting that will set the agenda for the next.
Down below is just a quick snippet of what we are hoping to achieve. And everyone is welcome from everywhere in Scotland, not just Edinburgh and Glasgow .
Scotland Central Belt Group
For Practical Bookkeeping , Support ,Coffee
Introduction
Welcome to all our members in Scotland . We have set up a new Group
Called the Scotland Central Belt Group to take place during the day. All
members and students are welcome from all parts of Scotland. We aim to try
and move about once we have got established.
Edinburgh and Glasgow regional group will still be organising events. We
hope to see as many members as possible turn out for these events.
Our aim as a Central Group is too try and cover Practical Bookkeeping for
members during the day , act as support to each other . To endeavor to cover
as many areas as we for various industries and all practical areas of
bookkeeping.
Where : 2nd June 2011 Coatbridge Community Centre
Time : 10am to 1pm
Cost : Small Fee to cover (Room Hire , Coffee and Sandwiches ( No,s Req,d )
On Approval from the ICB we will hopefully be able to post the agenda.
