I finally managed to arrange childcare for next week’s Milton Keynes CPD Seminar, went online to book and it has been cancelled due to lack of numbers.
I am really disappointed as I was looking forward to finally meeting some local ICB members and finding out more about CPD and Level IV.
However, I realise that my attempted late booking did nothing to assist the ICB in confirming numbers for the venue, though unfortunately on this occasion it was out of my control.
The nearest alternatives offered are Birmingham and Oxford, which just aren’t feasible for me – I am based in Northants. I have looked at the regional bulletin boards on the forum and there doesn’t seem to be any local branch meetings, although I could have overlooked something.
Anyway, to get to the point, I just wondered if anybody else was in the Northants/MK area and knows of any local meetings. If there aren’t any and there are enough of us maybe an informal meeting may be possible in the future?
