Purchase of Past Paper

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but I'm having problems with a past paper that I purchased almost a month ago and thought I'd post on here for help!

I purchased a past paper to download on 15th April but I didn't get an e-mail providing the link to download the paper, I waited a few days but still received nothing. On 19th April I sent an e-mail to info@bookkeepers.org.uk to explain that I hadn't been able to download the paper and to ask if they could send the link to me. I received the link on 26th April and tried to access it straight away. The link took me to a page on the ICB website which displayed the message 'No File Found'. (I can only guess that this was because 10 days had lapsed since the original purchase) I replied to ICB the same day to tell them the problem I had trying to access the link but I never received anything back. I sent another e-mail on 3rd chasing up the previous one but again no reply.

On 6th May I called the ICB to discuss my problem and was told that I'd have to purchase the paper again. I told the lady who I was speaking to that I wasn't willing to do that as I felt that I wasn't at fault. I had been actively trying to download the paper since I purchased it but hadn't been able to access it. She told me to but all the details in an e-mail and someone would look into it for me. I did that the same day attaching all previous e-mails and again I haven't heard anything.

I feel that this is holding me back as I've finished my course and I'm looking to book exams soon. I wanted to do some past papers for practice before the real thing. It's put me off purchasing any more as I fear it will either cause a mix-up with the one I'm trying to sort out at the moment or the same thing will happen again.

Sorry it's abit long-winded, any help will be much appreciated. I also wondered if anyone else had a similar experience.

Many thanks,
Gemma

All is sorted now. I bit the bullet so to speak and called them again today. I spoke to a lovely lady who was so helpful and I couldn't thank her enough! What a relief after so long!
