Hi all, im new to the forum!!!

Was just wondering where i went from here, what this now entitles me to and also read somewhere that i have to take manual level 2 before september?

Thank you for your reply, yes i do want to go self employed so the pack would be great if you could send that out - thank you very much!!
Thanks for the advice and yes i think i shall stay as a student till i pass my level 2.
Does anyone know of any decent workbooks for level 2? for the last couple i relied on experience but feel i should revise for the next one.

Thanks again

Thank you James its much appreciated. Just one last question - if i renew my student membership now, then pass my level 2 manual (fingers crossed) later on in the summer. How would i go about upgrading my membership? Would i have to pay full or would they take into account that i have just paid another year for student membership (if that makes sense!)

thanks in advance

Hi Clare.
I don't think you'll fnd James on here on a Saturday, but I'm pretty sure that if you were to upgrade you membership now (you'd pay for 12 months), then when you pass the other, you would then pay for another full years membership but they would put the extra time on the end.  You would still get 24 months of membership but you'd be paying for year 2 early. Hope that makes sense.
If you aren't going to use the membership straight away - it might be worth waiting until you've passed the other exam and then doing it together.
That's what I'd do - but I don't know your circumstances.Laughing

Also, another thing to bear in mind is - with M-day approaching- if you upgrade from student to associate, and then something happens and you don't manage to get the manual exam sorted by September, then your membership would not be valid anyway.  Not sure what the full implications are of this - but needs to be considiered too.

Good luck with your exam though, I'm sure you'll be fine

Thanks Andrea, yes that does make sense. Im going to renew at student then book my manual level 2 (arghhhhh) Im starting to wonder if it would have been easier going through Ideal Schools or other instead of trying to study alone and relying on experience!!!!
