I'm Steph from Berkshire and I've been studying over the past couple of years whilst bringing-up 3 children, who are now all in full-time education (thank goodness!).

I have passed the Level 1 and Level II computerised exam and am now studying for Level II Manual. I'm not looking foward to the exam as I turn into a nervous wreck whilst doing them and tend to panic so doing the first 2 at home was great.

I have been very lucky to get some work experience with a friend who is a bookkeeper, which has been great and quite an eye-opener!

I hope to run my own practice one day but for the time-being am happy to work for someone else!

Hi steph.

I did level 2 manual about 2 moths ago.  It wasn't too taxing, as long as you know your stuff.  Plenty of practice, and the online mock is worth the money as it's a good indicator af what you can expect on the day.  Good luck!!

Hi Steph

I am also in Berkshire and did my Level II Manual in Slough Yesterday.

I have only just, in the last hour, received my Level II manual results - 100% - lots of dancing around in happiness.

As Andrea suggested do the Mock online. I did mine on Wednesday and not only does it show you what to expect it can also show you some last minute learning points - I got 96% in the mock and realised that I made some silly mistakes that I was careful not to repeated in the real exam.

Good luck. Are you going to the CPD event in Reading? I am.

Clare - feeling smug and off to book the computerised level II.

Did you not get the result when you left the computer room? I'm sure they had my result printed by the time I left the room. I certainly left the centre knowing the result.

Hi Peasie, I got the result to say that I had passed at the centre but had to wait a nail biting  24 (nearly) hours to find out the score and the fact I had a distinction via the ICB results page.

Funny thing was that I recieved the Level I certificate and my Level III books in the post the same day that I sat my level II exam. LOL
