I'm currently a sole trader (with 2 employees, both of whom are ICB members) and an ICB practice license.
Now I've decided to set up a limited company to trade through instead and my husband will shortly be starting working through the company, too. He won't be doing bookkeeping, but he will be doing tax advice, which he is qualified and experienced in but outside of the ICB.
So I'm wondering whether the company should - or even can - have an ICB practise license or not. I'm wondering if we need to register with HMRC for MLR instead and list our qualifications, since we're qualified through different bodies. That would also give us the opportunity to explore offering other services using other people with different qualifications.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has this sort of set up or has any thought or suggestions.
Thanks
