Hi all.
Went into Frampton Mill today and unfortunately they are changing ownership (going to become a Boston Tea Party cafe - yummy) and the week of the 18th is the changeover week so they weren't taking any reservations.
The Elm Tree doesn't open until 11am.
Have therefore provisionally booked space at the Inn on the Furlong instead from 10.30am - looks like they have some decent sized areas that we could commandeer. It's also handy for the centre of Ringwood and the main carpark. They only do coffee/tea and no cakes though - but should be able to get a bacon sarnie!
If anyone has any problems with this then please let me know asap - it is only a provisional booking.

Last minute cancellation so sorry have been told with less than 24 hours notice I have to move my horse from one field to another which involces taking down several hundred of metres of electric fencing. Nightmare! If I dont do it tomorrow then I have a place at the back of the field which is not an option when I have my nearly 2 year old toddler with me most of the time!
So annoyed wasn't going to cancel but can't afford not to move fields tomorrow. Between animals and kids I surprised I ever get a chance to work.
Will definately endeavour to make next meeting.

Sorry you missed it too Julie. There were seven of us in all and I thoroughly enjoyed the chat and found it very informative. Thanks again to Louise for organising the coffee morning. Hope we didn't tire you out Valerie with all our questions! It was so good to meet everyone and I think this could be the start of a regular thing.
Kind Regards, Pat

Totally agree with you Pat, I enjoyed it very much and hope we could do a meeting on a regular basis, shall we say every two months? any suggestions anyone? I suppose we could then get a qoute from the meeting pub to get some discount!

Glad the meeting went well and perhaps we should suggest a few dates for December?? For those who can make it on a Tuesday morning - how about 13th December - my day off that day. I work shifts so other dates / times may also suit.
Are there any other students amongst us?? I have just completed Level 1 Manual.
Take Care all,
Julie

Hi Julie
The 13th Dec works for me (although to be honest at present any date works for me until I get some clients!).
There are a number of students among us - all at different levels. Am currently working towards Level 3 and have just applied for my practice licence.....
May be worth starting a new post for the next meeting as this one is getting a bit long and may get missed by people not following it.

Hi Julie! I'm new to the ICB forum, I live in Bournemouth and would love to meet other ICB students. I see there could be a get together on the 13th? I'm free and would love to attend! I met LouP on a HMRC course who told me about this forum and she too is still free on the 13th. Please could you let me know if this is still on and if so, where and when? - If the 13th was just a suggested date, then I am happy to organise venue etc Kindest Regards Lorraine Sweet - Moordown

Hi Lorraine RE: Coffee Morning I vote for you as organiser! Please could you start a new thread as this is getting too long with all the quotes duplicated? I don't think I can attend this time, but will let you know if things change.
