One suggestion I can make is to draft a letter and send it to all the accountants in and around Yeovil. Try not to make it come across as just a job application, use it to sell yourself, how much you've learnt, your enthusiasm and how you want to learn and develop your skills. Wherever possible obtain the name of the partner, or the partner who deals with small business accounting and address your letter to them personally.
