Just thought I would pop on and thank the ICB for their very fast response to me handing in my computerised exam. It would have been nice to see where in the exam I dropped the few points, but the result was a good one all the same. Looking forward to taking my next exam.

Prctice licence here i come.  Laughing

Congratulations!

By the way, how long did they take? They received mine on 7th July and I am still waiting for the results? Hopefully they are not still wading through it trying to work out what the hell I've done??!!

Hi dodgechris

How long did it take ICB to acknowledge receipt of your exam?

They have had mine several days now and the status still says awaiting return on the website.  I am trying not to worry but for some reason not worrying and exams don't seem to go together for me!!!  I really don't feel like doing the exam again as the papers went astray - although to be fair I should only have to print everything off again and send it!  I have a horrid feeling this is going to delay the results and I am sitting twiddling my fingers waiting to take the level 3 computerised exam....before I forget everything I have learnt!

I will tell myself not to worry.

I hope you get your exam results soon and they are great results!

Hi James

With you just moving offices, can you confirm the address to send the computerised exams to.

Many thanks

Hi James

It is very disappointing that when I checked via the phone on Monday I was told to send it to the Wolverton Park address.

Oh well, this move does seem to have caused a lot of delays in the workings at ICB.

They also left their franking machine behind. I'm waiting on my level II computerised certificate and also the first module/book for level IV (I haven't even sat level III yet). The book won't fit through my letterbox so I've been waiting in to make sure I get it.

KLA - did you post your exam by recorded delivery? Check on the Post Office website if they've signed for it yet.

Hi Peasie

Yes I did, it was delivered by the post office on 19th July.  I am also waiting for my Level 3 manual certificate - I have been told it has been printed but has not been sent because the franking machine was only set up today.  They say my certificate should be sent today so hopefully your certificate and manual will be too!!

Hi James

It was the London office I phoned....I dont know why you dont have a record of it although I didnt give my membership number I just asked the question, never mind.....I have received the email today that you received the exam and the estimate is based on it being received today so it has potentially had an effect on the marking time unfortunately.

OK - I will now stop moaning and just chalk it up to experience.  Just one of those things hey?! Smile

James

In my more reasonable days I never doubted I would receive the results in less than a month!!  Thank you for the reassurance though it makes me feel much better! Smile

I just hope I haven't made a right fool of myself and made a mess of the exam now!!!

Hay Chris.

I think it was around 21 days or even a little earlier.

Sorry for not replying sooner but what with networking, new clients and my wee boy things can get a little busy in this household.

Hope your results go the way you want them to.

Regards

Peter.
