Level 2 Manual Mock Exam

Guys/gals, any chance of a bit of advice.

I've just finished the level 2 manual mock and have a quetion.

Looking at the results, I got two [one point] questions wrong to do with Bank Reconciliation. The trouble is, it isnt really wrong. There were three boxes for lodgements not yet credited, and without using the correct figures, lets say my answers were -

123
456
789

total - 100001

The answers came back as

123 - correct
456 - wrong, should have been 789
789 - wrong, should have been 456

total - 100001 correct

Can  someone advise me on how this comes back as incorrect.

I hope I havent made the point too confusing.

Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,

I had same thing in my actual exam and because i put the wrong cheque amount in the wrong box i got marked down for it!!!! Even though my reconciliation was correct! I never queried it with ICB because i was really pleased with my pass rate anyway! Maybe i should mention it. James from ICB reads these posts. What do you think James? Should i query my exam results? I wonder if your mock exam was my past paper in May that i took?

Seems overly harsh to me, but thanks for letting us know.
