Membership Upgrade

I've just upgraded my membership to comply with M-Day - I already had the qualifications but needed to pay for a membership upgrade. I apreciate that I don't loose any money over this since my membership is extended by a year when upgrading. But I had already done this earlier this year to qualify for a practise licence. I now find my membership is valid until July 2013.

Why is it not possible to simply pay a small adminstrative charge to upgrade your existing membership whenever you pass an exam? I would rather pay for my membership in 2013 out of my earnings from 2012 than this year.

Cheers

It is possible to just add a supplement to your membership for a smaller fee. I did so with the Payroll Management Diploma. All you have to do is call and ask. I spoke with Chloe in Member Services, she was very helpful and did it for me over the phone.

Didn't think of that - I just clicked on the MDay diagnostic link and it said I needed to upgrade my membership. I keep forgetting there are real people at the ICB who's job it is to help members.
